Nagaland: NPF Legislator Kuzholuzo Nienu is Co-Chairman of UDA

Dimapur, May 9 (EMN): Naga People’s Front (NPF) MLA Kuzholuzo Nienu has been made Co-Chairman of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), a few days after the party unanimously elected him as the leader of the NPF legislature wing.

“The Governor of Nagaland is pleased to confer upon Shri Kuzholuzo Menu, Leader of NPF Legislature Party as Co-Chairman of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), the rank and status of Cabinet Minister with immediate effect,” read the notification dated May 7.

The development came days after 21 NPF MLAs led by the then leader of the NPF legislature wing TR Zeliang joined the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party

The NPF currently has only four legislators — Khriehu Liezietsu, Kuzholuzo Nienu, Kezhienyi Khalo and Dr. Nganshi K Ao.
