Nagaland: NFHRCC and PWD officials conduct joint survey

Dimapur, Sep. 1 (EMN): Nagaland Foothill Road Construction Committee (NFHRCC) and PWD (R&B), Dimapur division, conducted a joint survey assessment for construction of motorable road within this working season on August 31.

An update from the committee stated that NFHRCC members along with the PWD (R&B) officials and representatives from adjoining villages undertook a joint survey assessment to Niuland sector on August 31.

NFHRCC has acknowledged the prompt action taken by the chief engineer of PWD (R&B) Limanaro as per her letters to respective divisional EE PWD (R&B) vide no.CF(R&B)/foothill road/ 2013-14/PT-1/ 89-90 dated Kohima the 26/08/20 to submit detailed reports within a stipulated period for final assessment to restore the entire foothills stretch to a motor-able road in the ensuing winter season as desired by the Naga public.

The committee has further thanked the representatives of the adjoining villages in the area for their cooperation and support in carrying out the joint visit.
