Cleanliness drive held in Chümoukedima
DIMAPUR — As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, which is being celebrated from Sep. 15 to Oct. 2 to encourage public participation and highlight the role of sanitation, a cleanliness drive was held in various locations under Chümoukedima district on September 21. Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Rural and PHED Urban divisions from Shikavi village, Aoyimkim village, Tsithrongse village and Toshzu village took part in the mass cleanliness drive and Plastic Shramdaan, Swachhata pledge, Swachhata ki Bhagidarri and Sampoorna Swachhata, a DIPR report stated.
Wokha DPDB meeting on September 26
DIMAPUR — Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman of Wokha District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Vineet Kumar, has informed that the monthly DPDB meeting for the month of September will be held on September 26 at the DC conference hall at 11 am. According to a DIPR report, all DPDB members have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
Joint verification of Longleng district hospital
DIMAPUR — The Longleng district administration, led by the Deputy Commissioner W Manpai Phom, along with police personnel headed by the additional SP, conducted a joint verification of the district hospital on September 21. According to a DIPR report, the medical superintendent gave a briefing on the hospital’s operations and services. Additionally, the team also inspected the on-going construction work of the hospital at a new site.

DC Longleng notifies on DB recruitment
DIMAPUR — In pursuance of the commissioner’s office letter dated September 12 and in continuation to the Home Department’s letter dated September 11, the direct recruitment process for the post of Dobashi (DB) Gr-II through District Level Recruitment Board (DLRB) under the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Longleng, has been kept on abeyance till further directive. This was informed by the deputy commissioner of Longleng, a DIPR report stated.
Immanuel College holds spiritual awakening prog.
DIMAPUR — Immanuel College, Dimapur, organised its annual Spiritual Awakening Gospel programme on the theme ‘Seek the Lord and Live. Amos 5:6’ with Rev. Dr. Azahto Sema, senior pastor, New Life Church, Kohima, as the speaker on September 21 at the college auditorium. According to an update, the speaker’s message highlighted the importance of prioritising faith and one’s relationship with God, citing Matthew 6:33, which emphasises seeking God’s kingdom first. The speaker urged students to receive God and live a Christian life, warning against procrastination, noting that it is not the will of God. The event comprised two sessions.
Water pipeline restored at Tangkhowong
DIMAPUR — The water pipeline connectivity of Tangkhowong, a hill of prayer established in 2002, was restored on September 18 through a donation by LIZ-T3, a mission partnership. According to an update, the short programme was chaired by Shojiba, pastor of Zaonger Baptist Church, and dedicated by Rev. Longri Nongti, Pungro area mission promoter.
MTS interview scheduled for September 25
DIMAPUR — In pursuance of the advertisement dated September 13 for the filling of one post of MTS under the establishment of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, it has been notified that the interview will be conducted on September 25 at the office chamber of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, Kohima, from 10 am onwards. Candidates have been directed to bring original documents for verification.
