Transport office informs public

Regional transport officer (RTO) has informed the public that the pending smart card for both driving licence and vehicle registration certificate is printed and ready. Informing this in a press release, RTO Keneingunuo Clara has requested all the concerned to collect the same from the office of the Regional Transport Officer, Kohima, during office working hours.

Kohima’s DC convenes meeting

In view of the Measles-Rubella campaign (MRVC) scheduled to be launched on October 3 in the state, deputy commissioner cum chairman of district task force for immunisation, Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, has convened a meeting on July 4 in his office chamber at 11 am. He has requested all the members of district task force and stakeholders to attend the meeting positively. Stakeholders for Measles-Rubella campaign are SP Kohima, CMO Assam Rifle, MO i/c CRPF, MO i/c GREF, presidents of Indian Red Cross, Family Planning Association of India, Nagaland Medical Council, NBCC, Catholic Association, CRC, Pentecost, Assembly of God, Muslim cleric, Hindu priest, and media representatives from Doordarshan, Nagaland Post, Eastern Mirror, Morung Express, Capi.

Central officials pay visit to post-cocoon sector

The chairman of the Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, KM Hanuman Tharayappa accompanied by scientists from central Muga Eri Research & Training Institute, Ladaigarh, Jorhat and Regional Sericulture Research Station, Rowriah, Jorhat, Assam, along with team of state officials visited the Post-Cocoon Sector in Nagaland under North Eastern Region Textiles Promotion Scheme at New Chungtia and Sabangya under Mokokchung district on 25th June 2018. The project executing agency is Samvrudi Trust and is implemented by the department of Sericulture.

Chakhesang leaders to host prayer meeting

The Chakhesang leaders has covened its third monthly divine revelation prayer meeting from July 13-15 at CCCRC Prayer Centre, Chetheba in Phek under the theme “If My People Who Are Called By My Name Will Humble Themselves…(II Chronicles 7:14).” The speakers for the program are Rev. Khrotso Mero, sr. pastor of CBCK; Rev. Vevozo Khamo, executive secy. of CCCRC; and Muleto Nienu, associate pastor of CCRC Upper PWD, Kohima. The organizers have informed that the prayer meeting will be hosted by Hukhwuyi Dawhuo’s family members. All the Chakhesang leaders irrespective of parties, national workers, bureaucrats and payers warriors have been requested to attend the programme positively.

Kiphire DPDB meeting on July 4

The monthly meeting of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) has been scheduled on July 4 at 11 am in the deputy commissioner conference hall. All the members have been informed to attend the meeting positively.
