Nagaland NCC officers shine at OTA Gwalior

DIMAPUR —Two Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) from the 1 Nagaland NCC Girls Battalion, Kohima, demonstrated their skills in small arms firing, drill, and excellence in teaching NCC subjects at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

According to a press release, CTO Puja Devi and CTO Salyvia Basumatary are currently undergoing the Pre-Commissioning Course (PRCN) JW-113.

During the course, Devi, from Bethesda High Secondary School in Dimapur, was awarded a gold medal in firing and a silver medal in drilling. Basumatary, from Delhi Public School (DPS) in Dimapur, received a certificate of excellence in lecture practice, having achieved first place.

It was reported that the officers demonstrated exceptional skills and precision, securing top honours among 123 officers from across the country who attended the course and that this achievement is a proud moment for the NCC fraternity of Nagaland.
