
The Nagaland U-14 team, along with NCA officials and support
staff, pose for a group photo ahead of their participation in the 1st North
East Little Masters Trophy.
- DIMAPUR — The
Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) announced the U-14 boys' team selected to
participate in the 1st North East Little Masters Trophy, scheduled to be held
from April 19 to the 30th in Guwahati.
- According to an update from the NCA, on the recommendation
of the men’s selection sub-committee, the players have been selected to
represent Nagaland in this prestigious inter-state tournament.
- The selected players are Vivotuo Rupreo, Eric Rupreo, Kitovi
Sema, Imtilong Longchar, Kingsangthvu Thüvüri, Yuhumba, Sangtsulen Tshunherü,
Kavito T. Assumi, Chubasunep, Imtinok, Akash Kumar Gupta, Ayan Sheikh, Sohan
Nabsudra, Badal Limbi, Saheb Kumar, Pukito K, and Kesoyhun Kent.

- The support staff includes Vinoto Awomi as team manager,
Talikaba and Kechisen Keppen as coaches, Lanumongla Jamir as strength and
conditioning coach, and Duvo Ruho as physio.
- Organised under the aegis of the Assam Cricket Association,
the tournament will feature U14 teams from eight northeastern states: Arunachal
Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
- Matches will be played across two venues: ACA CA Ground,
Fulung, and Annexe Ground, ACA Stadium, Guwahati.
- The NCA has extended its best wishes to the Nagaland team
and support staff.
- On April 21, Nagaland will face Manipur at ACA CA Ground.
The team will then play against Sikkim on April 24 at Annexe Ground. On April
25, Nagaland will play Tripura at ACA CA Ground and will face Meghalaya on
April 24 at Annexe Ground.
- The team's final group-stage match will be against Mizoram
on April 26 at ACA CA Ground. Should Nagaland progress, they will compete in
the knockout rounds scheduled for April 28, leading up to the final match on
April 30.
