Nagaland: More than 2.46 lakh Inner Line Permit registrations recorded in May

Dimapur, June 23 (EMN): Nagaland saw a total of 2, 46,390 Inner Line Permit (ILP) registration and about 1, 51,704 renewals in the month of May.
The data provided on the ILP portal showed an increasing trend in the registration over the last one year, witnessing an average increase of 829 ILP registrations per month between June 2021 and May 2022.
The cumulative renewed ILP also showed an increasing trend with an average of 928.7 ILP renewals per month for the same period.
In June 2021, a total of 2, 36,452 ILPs were registered and 1, 40,925 renewed.
The online Inner Line Permit (ILP) module was launched on December 16, 2021 by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio to ease registration process of the travel document and covers categories such as business people, traders, labourers, priests, students etc.
However, the module for the online issue of ILP for tourists was made operational in November 2019.
The ILP fee for domestic tourist is INR 50, which is valid for 15 days; foreign tourist- INR 100, valid for 30 days; trader- INR 100, valid for 90 days; businessperson- INR 500, valid for 365 days; student- INR 100, valid for 90 days; labourer- INR 100 valid for 90 days; and priest and teacher- INR 500, valid for 365 days.
