Nagaland: Moko Koza joins Phevima Eco Club in cleanliness drive
Dimapur, Oct. 27 (EMN): The Phevima Eco Club conducted a cleanliness drive at DC Court office in Dimapur on October 26. The cleanliness was from 6:30 am to 9 am, and began with a prayer by Tutu Kerhuo. Refreshment was provided by the Dobashi Union.
There were 25 participants. Local artist Moko Koza joined the members for the drive. The Club cleaned the office surroundings, mowed the grasses in the front yard, collected the bottles, plastics and segregated them accordingly, an update from the club informed.
“The biggest challenge faced in cleaning the compound was the wastes in between the office buildings and the backyard. The wastes were full of unhygienic substances and in large quantities, that it was beyond our capacity to clean it manually with limited resources. Nevertheless, the members gave their best in making it as clean as possible,” it stated.
