Wokha, Oct. 30 (EMN): The Lotha Eloe Hoho (LEH) unveiled the 25th jubilee monolith at Eloe Hoho Ki in Wokha town on October 30.

The dedication of the monolith in commemoration of the LEH silver jubilee was done by Rev. Dr. L Tsanso, executive secretary of Lotha Baptist Church Association (LBCA), Vankhosung Mission Centre.

In a short message, Tsanso recalled the visionary women leaders, who undertook all hardship for the present generation in achieving a new milestone. He called upon the LEH members to continue striving for the welfare of women and younger generation. Unveiling of the monolith was done by Orenthung Lotha, Deputy Commissioner of Wokha.

LEH president, Zuchobeni Ezong, while delivering the vote of thanks, said that the programme was organised in an informal manner due to the pandemic and to avoid large gatherings. She further informed that a formal programme for the celebration of its silver jubilee would be organised when all social life gets back to normalcy.

The monolith stone for the silver jubilee was donated by the family of Dr. T Odyuo, retired director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services.
