Nagaland U-23 team lifted the Inter-state T20 Invitation Cup defeating Arunachal Pradesh (U-23) team at NCA Stadium, Dimapur. Nagaland captain won the toss and elected to bat. Nagaland team lost two quick wickets with the score just reading 9 runs on board. Imliwati (12) and Sedezalie (25) managed to take the score to 41. Then in middle order Tahmeed (13) and Anga (10) pushed the score to 93 for 7 in 20 overs.For Arunachal, Momar took three wickets.
Arunachal Pradesh started well and at one stage were one down for 50 but Hidayatullah (3 wickets) and Tahmeed (2 wickets) bowled some tidy overs and restricted Arunachal team to 81 in 19.4 overs with all wickets down.
For Arunachal only resistance came from Nedam (16), Techi (11) and Kanisha (11)

Nagaland Cricket Association is also organizing a one-day series between Arunachal Pradesh (U-16) and Nagaland (U-16) teams to uplift the junior cricketers of both the states. The tournament will start from November 5 at NCA ground, Dimapur.
