Nagaland Labour Department has invited public suggestions and objections on draft Labour Codes rules within 30 days.

DIMAPUR — The Department of Labour, Government of Nagaland, has informed all stakeholders, including employers, employees, trade unions, establishments, organisations and members of the public, that the draft rules under the Labour Codes have been uploaded on the department’s official website for information and public consultation.
In a notification, the department invited claims, objections, suggestions and comments from all concerned stakeholders regarding the provisions contained in the draft rules.
The draft Labour Codes and rules can be accessed through the department’s official website.

The department stated that all claims and objections should be submitted in writing within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice. Submissions may be sent to labcomm-ngl@nic.in.
Stakeholders have been requested to clearly mention the relevant section or rule along with their justification or suggestions for consideration by the department.
The department also expressed its appreciation for the participation and cooperation of all stakeholders in ensuring the effective implementation of the Labour Codes in the state.
