Patton visits injured persons in Dimapur

Dimapur, Dec. 8 (EMN): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton on Wednesday visited six persons who were undergoing treatment at the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) and Faith Hospital in Dimapur, for the gunshot wounds sustained in the Oting firing incident.

An update from DPRO Dimapur stated that Patton extended financial assistance to the injured persons besides wishing them speedy recovery during the visit.

"You are undergoing tumultuous pain and sufferings for no fault of yours and it pains my heart," he told them.

It was informed that some of them are in stable condition while others have to undergo more surgeries.

Patton was accompanied by Commissioner Police Dimapur Rothihu Tetseo, other police officers, EAC Chumoukedima, village council members and others.
