Nagaland Judo Association to conduct judoka selection camp on October 21

Dimapur, Oct. 17 (EMN): The Nagaland Judo Association (NJA), under the aegis of Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA), is holding a selection camp for judoka players at Kohima for the upcoming Northeast Olympic Games 2022 at Meghalaya.

The selection camp will be held on October 21 at Indira Gandhi (IG) Stadium, Kohima.

The weigh-in will begin at 7 am and the selection time will begin at 9 am, an update stated.

There are seven weight categories each for both men and women; 40 kg, 45 kg, 50 kg, 55 kg, 60 kg, 66 kg, 73 kg for men; and 34 kg, 40 kg, 44 kg, 48 kg, 52 kg, 57 kg, 63 kg for women.

It further informed that there will be no allowances for food, travel and lodging for the selection trial, and participants will have to bear their own expenses.

Further, the selected judoka players will have a coaching camp from October 24 at IG Stadium, Kohima.
