The Nagaland Judo Association conducted its second Judo Ranking Event for 156 judokas at Eden Academy.

MOKOKCHUNG — The Nagaland Judo Association (NJA) organised its second Judo Ranking Event at Eden Academy in Mokokchung on June 27.
The event brought together 156 judokas from across the state. It was hosted to evaluate the technical skills of the athletes, monitor their progress, and provide them with an opportunity to earn promotion to higher belt levels through a standardised ranking assessment.
Throughout the day, participants underwent technical evaluations conducted by officials and instructors of the Nagaland Judo Association.
The association expressed appreciation to Eden Academy for providing the venue and extending support for the event. It also thanked the coaches, officials, volunteers, parents, and supporters.
The Nagaland Judo Association reaffirmed its commitment to promoting judo at the grassroots level and providing regular ranking opportunities to young athletes. It added that such events play a role in identifying talent, encouraging improvement, and preparing judokas for future district, state, and national competitions.
