Nagaland: Jubilee Memorial School organises school concert

The annual event of the Jubilee Memorial School (JMS)- ‘School Concert’ was held on the theme ‘Star Streak’ at Town Hall Mokokchung on Sep. 21. The concert was held as a tribute to the parents and exposed their other talents apart from academic pursuance.
The principal of the School, SK Maiti asserted that education is not restricted to homework and marks, classroom and school but it also builds one’s personality and changes capabilities into abilities.
Maiti also mentioned that a healthy balance of academic and extracurricular activities are the key to a great schooling experience. He pointed out that during the last 30 years the school has grown not only in student strength but also in educational standards.
The main objective of the school is to empower the students, so that they may identify their strength and weakness and distinguish between dreams, desire and destination, the principal said.
Performances from bands and solo artists, dance presentations from various classes and enacting of Disney movies and retro vibes presentation by the teachers marked the school concert.
