Dimapur, Oct. 27 (EMN): The Nagaland Christian Forum (NCF) which was reactivated and rechristened as Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) on October 5, organised an installation programme of office bearers and executive members at Platinum Hall, NBCC office, Kohima.
The program was chaired by School Coordinator NBCC Rev. Dr. Mechiehol Savi while Executive Secretary, Angami Christian Revival Church Rev. Dr. DL Sanchu read the scripture and offered prayer. A special song was presented by the Nagaland College of Music and Fine Arts.
President NJCF Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, shared on the rational behind “Why NJCF.” Words of encouragement and prayer of installation was offered by President Kohima Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao. The programme concluded with benediction by Parish Priest of St. Francis De Sales Church, Kohima Rev. Fr. Richard Fernades. The NJCF team will be headed by Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho as president, Rev. Dr. N Paphino as vice president, Rev. Fr. GL Khing as secretary, Rev. Dr. Moses Murry as treasurer. Executive members are Rev. T R Angami and Rev. Tusaya Kath from Assembly of God Church, Rev. Fr. Victor Renthungo and Fr. Carolus Kuotso from Catholic Church, Rev. Hotokhu P Zhimomi and Rev. TW Yamyap from Nagaland Baptist Church Council, Rev. Vangpong Phom and Pastor M Kezo from Nagaland Christian Revival Church, Khyomo Lotha and Zakieo Metha from Nagaland Pentecostal Church Kohima and DS Namrei CSM and Captain J Liankhama from Salvation Army Church Kohima.
As per the release from Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC), the objective and purpose of NJCF is to foster unity and to address common pressing issues facing the church in particular and the society in general.
