Nagaland International Trade Expo 2024 from January 18

DIMAPUR — The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has announced that the Nagaland International Trade Expo 2024 will take place from January 18 to 22 at Senden Riju, Purana Bazar, near ISBT, Dimapur, from 11 am to 9 pm.

In a press release, BAN stated that the expo is being organised in collaboration with the National SC-ST Hub, National Small Industries Corporation, Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, and the Government of Nagaland

“The Expo aims to provide local entrepreneurs with a platform to highlight and promote products and services,” it said, adding that the expo will also have national and international exhibitors. 

The expo’s main features include the display of a wide range of products and services from various industries, top automobile brands such as Mahindra, MG, Toyota, Skoda, Audi, Nexa, and Isuzu presenting their latest models, a food court featuring a selection of local cuisines, and interactions with representatives from various government departments to learn about initiatives, policies, and opportunities for collaboration.

It will also feature chainsaw woodcarving, live painting, FRP artwork, and Loinloom weaving, as well as live performances by local musicians, panel discussions on relevant topics, experts, industry leaders, and policymakers sharing insights on critical economic issues such as sustainable tourism, startups and entrepreneurship, logistics boosting, and product launches.

The Nagaland International Trade Expo will be inaugurated by Narayan Rane, Union Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.
