An update from IIE stated that the EDC would be established in the BOT model, where the centre would be built, operated and transferred to stakeholders. IIE and DESDE have identified Ernst and Young LLP (EY) as a knowledge partner.

Following the signing of MoU, IIE organised a stakeholder meeting on May 13 at multipurpose hall of DESDE in Kohima for finalisation of the governance and implementation structure for EDC.

The meeting was chaired by IIE director Dr. Lalit Sharma, which was attended by Dr. Sriparna B Baruah, faculty member and head of CIE (IIE); Chiden Yaden, DESDE director; and Savio Visa, joint director of DESDE.
