Nagaland has administered a total of 1663330 Covid vaccine doses

Dimapur, May 27(EMN): Nagaland has administered a total of 16,63,330 Covid vaccine doses including 32,615 precautionary doses for the age group of 12 years and above as well as Health Care Workers (HCW) and Frontline Workers (FLW) as of May 26, according to the department of Health and Family Welfare.

The breakup of those vaccinated shows that 16,062 HCW have received the first dose of Covishield, 13,614 received the second dose, and 4186 have taken precautionary doses; while 61,209 FLW have been administered the first dose of Covishield, 49,009 with the second dose, and 22,822 received precautionary doses.

Data also showed that 2,21,936 people of 45 years and above category were administered first doses, 1,93,467 persons received the second dose and 5,481 received the precautionary dose. Under the category of 18 to 44 years, 5,24,464 persons have received the first dose, 4,08,649 persons  received the second dose, and 126 persons have been administered precautionary dose.

For the age of 15 to 17 years, 69,589 persons were administered first dose and 41,699 persons received the second dose.

The daily bulletin of the department stated that including the first and second doses, Dimapur district has administered 34,471 Covaxin doses, Kohima has administered 16,357 doses, Kiphire 3,612 Mokokchung 10,507, Mon 13,177, Peren 3,485, Phek 7,530, Longleng 3,044 Tuensang 9,305, Wokha 5,047 and Zunheboto 4,753.

Meanwhile, a total of 31,171 CorBEvax vaccines for the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered, in which 20,455 received the first dose and 10,716 received the second dose.

District wise data stated that, including the first and second dose, Dimapur district has administered 7,188 CorBEvax doses, Kohima 1194 doses, Kiphire 1071, Mokokchung 3,879, Mon 7,234, Peren 908, Phek 958, Longleng 999, Tuensang 4,634, Wokha 1,773 and Zunheboto 1,333.

On the other hand, as on May 27, there are two active positive cases reported in the state, one asymptomatic case from Kohima and another person with mild symptoms has been currently admitted in the COVID hospital in Dimapur, according to the department.
