Nagaland has 61,895 registered old age disabled widows

Dimapur, Sep. 3 (EMN): In Nagaland, there are 61,895 old age disabled widows registered under the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), as per the Chief Minister’s dashboard update from August 28 till September 2.
However, the number of Aadhaar entered and verified out of the 61,895 was 4805, while the Aadhaar seeded bank account was nil and the total direct benefit transfer transactions (DBT) was 3043.
Among the districts, Mokokchung has the highest registered number with 7905 followed by Kohima with 7720 and Mon with 7167. The lowest old age disabled widow registered district is Kiphire with 1596.
The Aadhaar entered and verified number for Dimapur was six out of 6373 registered; Kohima-1810; Mokokchung-412; Mon-45; Phek-987; Zunheboto-1110; Kiphire-435; and nil in Tuensang, Wokha, Peren and Longleng.
The total DBT transactions for Dimapur was 998; Kohima-1739; Mokokchung-80; Mon-60; Phek-91; Zunheboto-12; Kiphire-63; and nil in Tuensang, Wokha, Peren and Longleng.
However, the Aadhaar seeded bank account for the entire district was nil.
