Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): GPRN/NSCN has reaffirmed its optimism on “Agreed Position” of the Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC-NNPG) with the government of India to bring about timely honourable, acceptable and comprehensive Indo-Naga political solution.
The reaffirmation to this effect was made during the general meeting of the regional authorities, sub-regions, union territories and other affairs committee held under the aegis of its kilo (home) ministry on September 28 at its Council Headquarters (CHQ), Naga Unification Camp, Khehoyi.
An update from GPRN/NSCN through its MIP stated that the house has declared and reaffirmed unflinching support to its chairman, Gen. (retired) MB Neokpao Konyak, and general secretary, N Kitovi Zhimomi, under whose leadership the Naga people’s desire for durable peace and tranquility could be accomplished.
The house further put on record that the Naga people are actually agitated due to the inconclusive talks with the GOI and overdue political solution.
