Nagaland Governor visits Chozuba, Ruzazho, Yoruba

Dimapur, Sep. 9 (EMN): Nagaland Governor RN Ravi paid a visit to Chozuba, Ruzazho, and Yoruba villages in Phek district and interacted with the village council members on Thursday.

An update informed that Ravi visited Japan Riba Government High School in Chozuba before going to Ruzhazo, “the first Indian village liberated from the British control and Administered by Azad Hind government of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in 1944”.

He also he visited ‘the house where Netaji stayed’ and interacted with veteran freedom fighter Poswuyi Swuro, who was appointed as Dobashi of the village by Netaji.

The governor ‘expressed his gratitude to the people of the three villages for their warm hospitality and assured them his best possible assistance in fulfilling their developmental aspirations’ and due recognition.

The governor also inspected the ongoing National Highway construction in the district.
