Nagaland Governor mourns demise of former BJP state unit president

Dimapur, Oct. 13 (EMN): Nagaland Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi has expressed sadness on the demise of Visasolie Lhoungu, Chairman of Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency and former president of BJP Nagaland unit, who passed away on Tuesday after a brief illness.

The governor described the deceased as a dedicated, sincere and hardworking person who passionately worked for the progress of Nagaland and had concern for the welfare of the people, especially the marginalised section.

“I on behalf of the people of Nagaland and my own behalf, convey our heartfelt condolences. I pray to God to bestow the needed fortitude to the family members to bear this tragic loss and grant them solace at this hour of enormous pain. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” read the condolence message.
