Nagaland Governor greets Khiamniungan, Pochury communities
DIMAPUR — Governor, La. Ganesan, has conveyed greetings to the Khiamniungan and Pochury communities on the occasions of Tsokum and Yemshe festivals, respectively.
In his message for Tsokum, the governor wished for unity, gratitude, and abundance to fill the homes and hearts of the Khiamniungan people. “As we come together to honour our rich heritage and give thanks for a bountiful harvest, let this festive season bring peace, happiness, and strength to our community,” he said.
He also extended warm wishes to the Pochury community, highlighting the festival’s significance in celebrating the harvest and strengthening bonds of unity and friendship. He expressed his hope that the traditions upheld during Yemshe would continue to guide and inspire the community towards a prosperous future.
“May this auspicious occasion bring abundant blessings, joy and harmony and continue to usher in peace, unity and prosperity,” he added.
