DIMAPUR – Governor of Nagaland La. Ganesan has extended Sekrenyi greetings to the Angami community.
“This sacred time, deeply rooted in our rich cultural heritage, signifies a period of purification, sanctification and the fostering of unity. As you partake in the festive rituals and collective feasting, I salute you for the profound sense of community that the Sekrenyi embodies,” the governor said in his greeting message.
“May the bonds of kinship that you reinforce today become the enduring pillars of understanding and harmony both within your vibrant community and with the varied communities that surround you,” the message read.
Whishing the Angami community a jubilant, rewarding, and spiritually enriching Sekrenyi, the governor further hoped that the “festivities invigorate your souls, bind your community tighter, and echo your proud identity to the world.”
