Nagaland Governor, Chief Minister extend Good Friday greetings

Dimapur, April 1 (EMN): Nagaland Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio extended Good Friday greetings to the people of the state as Christians remember Jesus’ greatest gift to humanity.

“The essence of Good Friday is the victory of good over evil. Truth, non-violence, love, forgiveness and grace are some of the significant attributes of Jesus Christ. Let us reflect and imbibe these essential virtues and the Youths, who are our future, should above all assimilate His unblemished attributes,” read the press release from Raj Bhavan.

“Christ came to bring His peace to every man and woman. He came as the Prince of Peace. He died on the cross so that humankind can live in peace and harmony, Jesus loves Truth and the gospel says ‘You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free’ also ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God,’ it added.

“May the true spirit of Good Friday be with all of us in thoughts and in action. I wish you all a blessed Good Friday. God bless Nagaland!” he continued.
