Nagaland Governor, Chief Minister extend greetings to teachers
DIMAPUR — Nagaland Governor La. Ganesan and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended greetings to teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
“On this special occasion of Teachers’ Day which is being celebrated every year across the country on 5th September, I join the people of Nagaland in expressing our utmost gratitude and appreciation to all the teachers who have dedicated their lives in shaping and nurturing our future. It is indeed a day to congratulate the teachers for their dedication and invaluable contribution,” read the message from the governor.
“The teachers are undoubtedly the backbone of the society and nation builders. They not only impart knowledge but inspire dreams in us and mould our future. They are our mentors, counsellors and also play the role of parents sometimes. They inspire and motivate us to believe in ourselves and encourage us to pursue our dreams. They instil within us valuable life skills and moral values of honesty, integrity, hard work and empathy.
“As we celebrate Teachers’ Day, let us reflect on the profound impact our teachers have on our lives. Let us express our gratitude and appreciation for the immeasurable contributions they make to society and the nation. We pray for manifold blessings upon all the teachers as you continue to mould the lives of young people and inspire dreams in them,” it added.
Chief Minister Rio also took to X (formerly Twitter), to convey his greetings on the auspicious occasion.
“I extend my warm greetings on the special occasion of Teachers’ Day. Teachers are at the heart of training, education and guidance. I hope they uphold the noble profession of teaching by demonstrating the highest standards of integrity and professionalism,” he wrote.
