Nagaland government employees urged to be responsible to uplift society

Dimapur, March 7 (EMN): Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha and co-chairperson, District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha), KG Kenye called upon the government employees to discharge their assigned duties as a responsible employee for the uplift of the society.

Kenye was speaking at the Phek District Disha meeting held at Phek DC’s conference hall on March 5. Kenye urged the gathering to be vigilant and monitor the various departmental activities taking place. He also called upon them to give their cooperation in every way possible.

He also expressed hope that the centrally sponsored schemes would be implemented properly and requested the concerned departments to do their best.

Powerpoint presentations were presented by the departments of Rural Development, Food and Civil Supplies, Education, Land Resources, Roads and Bridges, Public Health Engineering, Land Records and Survey, Social Welfare, Urban Development, Department of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, PWD (National Highways), Water Resources, Industries and Commerce, PWD (Phek Div.) and Power.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Phek, Razouvolie Dozo, it added.
