Nagaland: Gospel concert in Kohima on Oct. 12

Various artists from across the state including Dreamz Unlimited, Alobo Naga, Virie, Seyievinuo Chuzho, Tali Angh, Ethnic Future, Divine Connection, Andrew Thong and RBCK choir will be performing at the Mega Gospel Concert, organised by the Urban Faith Production (UFP) on Oct. 12 from 4 pm onwards at NBCC convention Hall in Kohima.

Speaking during a press conference on Saturday, the chairperson of the UFP, Daniel Seb said that the main vision of the project is to reach out to the Naga youths as he feels that the Christian youths today are distancing from God.

Spokesperson of UFP Razoukhoyi Rhakho also said that they not only  focus on music but have bigger plans to expand their project in other professions too in the coming days. “Church does not interest the youth anymore”, he cried. “Not every graduates will get government job and this leads to frustration, depression and lose the purpose of life and they stray away from God”, he added.

He appealed to all the youths to come to the concert for a change and be blessed.

Seyievinuo chuzho, singer and performer, educationist and a counsellor said that people today rush to secular shows but less crowd in charity shows and she wants to give the mentality of “I need God”  to the youth.

Singer Verie also commented that this will be one of the biggest gospel concert and she is excited about it because many artists who she look upto will be performing as well.

Singer Andrew Thong also stated that the concert is not an entertainment business but it is about soul, life and eternity and believes that the concert will bring lots of “Spiritual Harvest”.

Seb also cited that the general ticket is priced at INR 100 and will be available at Big Bite, D café, CCF Coffee lounge, Sorshia & Co., Flavours Restaurant, Yaotsu’s Veggie Table, Dream Café, The Meet Up, FIFA (Opp. Oking Hospital), Ozone Café, Aurora, Continent, ete coffee Roastery, ete Coffee Brewery, Chill out Zone (COZ), Baskin Robbins Kohima (Hiogh School Jnction) Bambusa Express (High School Junction), Deccan Kitchen(Kohima College).

Food stalls will also be available at the site of concert, he added.
