Nagaland: FPAI organises AEP+ in Kohima village

Dimapur, Sep. 20 (EMN): Nagaland branch of the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI) organised an Adolescents Education Programme Plus (AEP+) at Government Middle School, L Khel Kohima village on September 20.

During the session, resource persons emphasised on the negative impact of bullying on an individual’s personal life and mental health and also shared on the significance of good communication as an important life skill.

The organisation press release stated that the focus of Family Planning Association of India has been not only on sexual and reproductive health but increased attention was also given to address unhealthy lifestyles, mental health and violence with AEP+ as one of the many programmes to reach out to young people and adolescents in order to provide accurate information so that they are able to make informed decisions.

With this purpose, it stated that FPA India has been reaching out to young people over the years.
