DIMAPUR — As the financial year approaches its end, the state Finance department has declared March 30, which is a non-transaction day, as a ‘special transaction day’ for both state treasuries and banks across the state.
This has been done to enable clearance of government bills during March 2024, it said in a notice issued through the DIPR on Wednesday.
It may be noted that March 31 of this year falls on a Sunday (Easter Sunday) while March 30 is a non-transaction day, and March 29 a holiday on account of Good Friday.
