Medallists who represented the state at the ISKA India Amateur and Semi-Pro Open Kickboxing Championship at Ballygunge Arena, Kolkata, on Monday.


DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Taekwon-do Federation’s fighters excelled at the International Sports Kickboxing Association (ISKA) India Amateur and Semi-Pro Open Kickboxing Championship held at Ballygunge Arena, Kolkata, on Monday.


According to an update from the federation, Kulungshi Newmai won gold in the 52 kg Straw Weight category (above 18 years), while Au Auto Chophi secured gold in the 70 kg Light Weight category (below 18 years).

Kuveluzo Soho earned silver in the 61 kg Bantam Weight category (below 18 years), and Thsatsase Sangtam claimed bronze in the 60 kg Bantam Weight category (above 18 years).


The Nagaland Taekwon-do Federation extended heartfelt congratulations to the medallists and expressed pride in their achievements.
