Nagaland enter U-14 Subroto quarter finals

Kohima, Sep. 9 (EMN): Team Nagaland represented by Greenwood School Dimapur defeated Haryana by 5-0 to enter the quarterfinals of the ongoing 61st Subroto Cup sub-junior international football tournament on Friday evening in New Delhi.

After winning three matches, Nagaland top Pool F table with nine points and progresses to the next round.

Kevisede ruled the roost as he scored four goals in the 10th, 29th, 41th and 50th minutes, which also earned him a hat-trick.

Moulso also scored for Nagaland in the 43rd minute.

In another game, Assam beat Uttar Pradesh 3-0 to set up a clash against Nagaland in the quarterfinals round, slated for September 11 at 7 pm.
