Dimapur, August 25 (EMN): State Chief Minister, TR Zeliang has expressed shock and sadness at the demise of Dominic Yazokie, Additional Director of IPR who passed away on Thursday noon from Bethesda Hospital in Kohima after a brief illness.
Late Dominic Yazokie who joined service in November 1985 as PRO, Delhi served the Government in different capacities with sincerity and commitment till his last breath. I remember him not only as a dedicated Government Officer but as a man who lived his life for unity and progress of his people, Zeliang stated.
At this time of pain and grief, the Chief Minister extended condolences and pray that Almighty God to grant solace to the bereaved family members and the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
CCU Peren: The Chakhesang Catholic Union (CCU) is saddened by the untimely demise of Domenic Yasokie Mera, president of Angami Catholic Union (ACU) on August 24.
CCU said late Yasokie was a dedicated and sincere Catholic leader who served the Church with all sincerity in various capacities and was known for his charming personality and qualities of preaching the Gospel. He was an officer admired by all for his simplicity and humility.
In his death, CCU stated that they have lost a great Catholic leader in Nagaland, which has created a big vacuum and it will be difficult to fill the vacuum for many years to come.
While sharing their sadness and sorrow, CCU conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray that the Almighty God grant them solace and strength to bear the loss and also the departed soul to rest in peace.
