Chishi stated this during a public meeting held at Kachari Sports Complex, Dimapur, on the theme “Save Nagaland: Join the revolution.” Stating that all the intending candidates speak good words and make false promises during election, Chishi alleged that former elected leaders in the constituency have done nothing for the people.
He also stated that appeasement of minority was not in his card and added that he would seek vote from particular tribes or clan. He also mentioned that everyone has their own private life and thus asked the people not to speculate.
Thaosen, chairman of Darogajan Village Council, lamented that Nagas do not know how to choose the right candidate. He cited that the youth today have become money and power mongers and do not respect someone who is not wealthy. He encouraged everyone to treat each other equally without ism and discrimination.
GB Lothak Girisa and Ghohezhe Achumi also delivered short speeches during the meeting.
