Nagaland cricketer selected for BCCI U-19 Men’s One Day Challenger Trophy

Dimapur, Oct. 24 (EMN): Raja Swarnkar (18), a promising right arm pacer has been selected for the upcoming BCCI U-19 Men’s One Day Challenger Trophy 2021-22, which will be held at Ahmedabad from Oct. to Nov. 10.

An update from Nagaland Cricket Association informed that he was scouted by the BCCI for his brilliant performance in the recently concluded Vinoo Mankad Trophy, where he took 14 wickets in 6 matches and helped Nagaland qualify for the knock-outs.

The U-19 Men’s One Day Challenger Trophy is organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) comprising six teams with the top-performing players of the Mens U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy. Furthermore, players from this tournament will be selected to represent India U-19 team in the upcoming U19 Men’s World Cup, it said.
