Nagaland Cricket Association officials inspect cricket practice pitch in Kiphire

DIMAPUR — The officials of Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) led by its vice president inspected the Concrete Cricket Practice Pitch at Public ground Kiphire HQ and also held a meeting with the officials of Kiphire District Cricket Association (KDCA) during their visit on February 7.

While assuring to look into the activities of the district association and help promote cricket, the NCA team also urged the KDCA officials to work towards promoting the sport at the grassroots level in order to nurture young talents into professional players.

An update from NCA said that the KDCA executives requested the visiting team to organise a cricket tournament in eastern Nagaland to boost the moral of young talents in the region as well as conduct district-level camps with trained NCA coaches.
