Nagaland Covid update: Solitary case reported from Phek

Dimapur, Dec. 20 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded one new Covid-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 11,832.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘One positive cases of Covid-19 was detected today from Phek. Also, 43 positive patients have recovered from Kohima,’ tweeted the minister. 

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 496 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 454 are asymptomatic, 27 mild, 10 moderate on oxygen, four severe on oxygen and one on ventilator.

The state has also recorded 11,144 recoveries and 73 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 242 cases, followed by Dimapur-156, Mokokchung-41, Peren-19, Kiphire-14, Mon-13, Tuensang-9,  Phek-2 while Zunheboto, Wokha and Longleng have zero cases so far.
