Dimapur, Dec. 22 (EMN): Nagaland recorded eight new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 11866.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
‘8 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today: Mokokchung-5 and Dimapur-3. Also, 50 positive patients have recovered: Dimapur- 35, Kiphire-10, Kohima-4 and Peren-1,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 417 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 386 are asymptomatic, 22 mild, 6 moderate on oxygen, two severe on oxygen and one on ventilator.
The state has also recorded 11,244 recoveries and 76 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 207 active cases, followed by Dimapur-124, Mokokchung-46, Peren-18, Kiphire-14, Mon-13, Tuensang-3, Phek-2 while Zunheboto, Wokha and Longleng have zero cases so far.
