Nagaland Covid update: 33 fresh detections; tally jumps to 11,709

Dimapur, Dec. 13 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 33 new Covid-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 11,709.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
‘33 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today: Kohima-27 and Dimapur-6. Also, seven positive patients have recovered from Kohima,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 631 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 590 are asymptomatic, 24 mild, 12 moderate on oxygen, three severe on oxygen and two on ventilator.
The state has also recorded 10,883 recoveries and 68 deaths, out which seven are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 372 cases, followed by Dimapur-188, Peren-21, Kiphire-14, Tuensang-11, Mon-10, Wokha-7, Mokokchung-6, Zunheboto-2 while Phek and Longleng have zero cases so far.
