Nagaland Covid update: 23 fresh detections; tally reaches 9638

Dimapur, Nov. 13 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 23 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, taking the state’s tally to 9638.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
‘23 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Friday); Dimapur-13, Kohima-5, Phek-3 and Mon-2. Also, 81 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-78, Mon-2 and Kohima-1,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 725 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 681 are asymptomatic, 14 mild, 14 moderate on oxygen, 13 severe on oxygen and three critical cases in ICU. The state has also recorded 8764 recoveries and 52 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 413 cases, followed by Kohima-204, Mon-85, Peren with eight, Mokokchung with seven, four in Tuensang, three in Phek, Zunheboto with one, while Kiphire, Wokha and Longleng have zero cases so far.
