Nagaland Covid update: 19 new cases detected

Dimapur, Nov. 8(EMN):
Nagaland recorded 19 new Covid-19 positive cases on Today, taking the state’s tally to 9474.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘19 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Sunday); Kohima-12, Mon-3, Dimapur-2, Mokokchung and Tuensang one each.  Also, 101 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-55, Kohima-25, Mon-19, Mokokchung and Peren one each,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 985 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 925 are asymptomatic, 32 mild, 12 moderate on oxygen, 10 severe on oxygen and six critical in ICU. The state has also recorded 8350 recoveries and 46 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 628 cases, followed by Kohima-227, Mon-88, Mokokchung-15, Tuensang-13, Peren-6, Zunheboto-2, Kiphire, Wokha and Phek one each, while Longleng  has zero cases so far.
