Nagaland Covid update: 19 fresh detections

Nagaland recorded 19 new Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 11,728.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘19 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today: Mokokchung-8, Dimpaur-6 and Kohima-5. Also, 56 positive patients have recovered: Kohima-29 and Dimapur-27,’ tweeted the minister. 

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 590 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 551 are asymptomatic, 26 mild, 10 moderate on oxygen, two severe on oxygen and one on ventilator.

The state has also recorded 10,939 recoveries and 69 deaths, out of which seven are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 347 cases, followed by Dimapur-166, Peren-21, Kiphire-14, Mokokchung-12, Tuensang-11, Mon-10, Wokha-7, Zunheboto-2 while Phek and Longleng have zero cases so far.
