Nagaland Covid update: 111 new cases detected

Dimapur, Oct. 25 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 111 new Covid-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 8626.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

’111 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Sunday); Dimapur-50, Kohima-29, Mon-23, Kiphire-6 and Mokokchung, Peren and Wokha one each. Also, 55 positive patients have recovered; Kohima-27, Dimapur-15, Mon and Tuensang five each, and Peren-3,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1865 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1790 are asymptomatic, 57 mild, 8 moderate, 2 severe on oxygen and 8 on critical-ICU.

The state has also recorded 6653 recoveries and 25 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 1372 cases, followed by Kohima-297, Mon-71, Mokokchung-62, Tuensang-20, Peren-19, , Zunheboto-13, Kiphire-10 and Wokha-1  while Phek and Longleng have zero cases so far.
