Nagaland Covid-19 update: Total cases in the state rise to 18

Kohima, May 28 (EMN): Nagaland reported nine new Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday morning, taking the total tally of positive cases to 18. This was updated on the Covid-19 Nagaland dashboard on May 28. 

Out of the 18 positive cases, 12 are from Dimapur, five from Kohima, and one from Tuensang. So far 1554 samples have been sent for testing, 1225 samples have returned negative and 311 results are being awaited according to the official update.

A total of 3324 are now under facility quarantine while 926 are under home quarantine. There have been no Covid-19 casualties so far for Nagaland.

However, there was no mention of the patients’ health status. Calls to the officials went unanswered till the time of filing this report.

Earlier, nine positive cases—two in Kohima, one in Tuensang, and six in Dimapur are being kept at the Covid-19 hospitals in the respective districts.
