Nagaland Covid-19 update: Five new cases detected; tally rises to 12066

Dimapur, Jan. 19 (EMN): Nagaland recorded five new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 12,066.
According to the information provided by the Health department, five Covid-19 positive cases were detected on Tuesday, three in Dimapur and two in Kohima, while seven more patients recovered.
As on January 19, Nagaland has 112 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 94 are asymptomatic, five mild, eight moderate on oxygen, and five severe on oxygen. The state has also recorded 11,724 recoveries and 88 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 53 cases, followed by Dimapur-46, Mokokchung-11, and one each in Peren and Mon, while Kiphire, Longleng, Tuensang, Wokha, Phek and Zunheboto have zero cases.
