Dimapur, Sep. 26 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 94 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, taking the state's tally to 5862.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
“Out of 574 results received, 94 positive cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed. 51 in Kohima, 39 in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung, 1 in each Mon and Phek. Also, state reports 89 recoveries of Covid-19 patients. 65 from Dimapur and 24 from Kohima,” the minister tweeted.
According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1088 active Covid-19 cases, 4726 recoveries and 11 deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 681, followed by Kohima-381, Mokokchung-19, Mon-14, Zunheboto-6, Tuensang-4, Phek-2 and one each in Peren and Wokh,a while Kiphire and Longleng have zero case of Covid-19 so far.
