Nagaland Covid-19 update: 9 new cases recorded; tally stands at 11841

Dimapur, Dec. 19 (EMN): Nagaland recorded nine new Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 11,841.
According to information provided by the Health department, nine positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Saturday): Kohima-8 and Mokokchung-1. Also, 25 positive patients recovered.
Nagaland currently has 538 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 495 are asymptomatic, 28 mild, 10 moderate on oxygen, four severe on oxygen and one on ventilator.
The state has also recorded 11,101 recoveries and 73 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 285, followed by Dimapur-156, Mokokchung-41, Peren-19, Kiphire-14, Mon-13, Tuensang-9, and Phek-1, while Wokha, Zunheboto and Longleng have zero cases.
