Nagaland Covid-19 update: 83 new cases take state’s tally to 6429

Dimapur, Oct. 3 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 83 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, taking the state's tally to 6429.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

“111 positive cases of Covid-19 detected today. Kohima-63 and Dimapur-48. And 46 patients have been discharged. Dimapur-43, Kohima-3,” tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1150 active Covid-19 cases, 5207 recoveries and 12 deaths. In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 673, followed by Kohima-301, Mon-76, Tuensang-36, Mokokchung-10, 2 each in Zunheboto and Phek,and  one each in Wokha and Longleng, while Peren and Kiphire have zero case of Covid-19 so far.
