Dimapur, Aug. 30 (EMN): Seventy-one fresh cases of Covid-19 detected on Sunday took the tally in Nagaland to 3922.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
'Out of 867 results received, 71 positive cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed. 49 in Kohima, 13 in Tuensang, 5 in Mokokchung and 2 each in Zunheboto and Dimapur. Also the state reported 109 recoveries of Covid-19 patients,' the minister tweeted.
According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 996 active Covid-19 cases, 3017 recoveries, and eight deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 447 active cases, followed by Dimapur at 425, Mon-40, Zunheboto-33, Tuensang-21, Mokokchung-9, Wokha-5, Peren -3 and one each at Longleng, Kiphire and Phek.
